This recipe makes 5 sandwiches!
Price Per Serving: $3.87

Ingredients
1 Package Dave’s Killer White Buns (you'll end up freezing some!)
16 Ounces 93% Lean Beef
1 Package Sliced Provolone Cheese
1 Green Bell Pepper
2 Cups Spinach
1 Yellow Onion
8oz Mushrooms
1 TBS Avocado Oil
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
Start by washing your bell pepper and mushrooms. Set aside.
Cut your entire onion into thin slices.
Preheat your pan to a medium-high heat.
Add 1 TBS Avocado oil to your pan.
Once pan is hot, add your onion. Cook for approximately 6 minutes.
While your onions caramelize, slice the bell pepper thinly and chop the mushrooms. **Don't forget to periodically stir the onions while you are chopping!**
Once the onions begin to have some brown on them, add the bell pepper and mushrooms to the pan. Toss and cover with a lid. Cook for an additional 6 minutes, or until bell peppers are softened, stirring occasionally.
Once bell peppers and mushrooms are cooked to your desired texture, add 2 cups of spinach and cook until wilted.
Remove the veggies from the skillet and set aside.
Return the skillet to the heat and add the ground beef and begin to brown.
About 1/2 way through cooking the beef, add in 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp of salt.
Once beef is cooked through, set aside and begin assembling the sandwiches.
Take your bun and add about 2.7 ounces of beef (aka 1/5 of what you cooked) to the bottom bun. (You may have pieces spilling over, that's okay! Just try to make as much of it fit as you can!)
Place 1 piece of provolone cheese on top of the beef AND 1 piece on the top half of the bun.
Leave it open-faced and put it in the microwave until the cheese is melted (about 30 seconds).
Top with 1/5 of your cooked veggie mixture, close, and enjoy!
Don't forget to say grace! ✨
